Nice - you got DeWayne to do the alum sleeve eh? he told me about this long ago....wonder if it'll work as well as he said. Did he do the porting or did his son? So is this a hill shooter too? Or is it going to be used for different purposes? Pipe looks like it fit well. Even my Gnarly hit the front fender by about 1/4". Curios to see how it does, esp longevity. Did LA Sleeve do the install? I know 1000 ?'s....lol

It belongs to Chad,
He worked out some deal with Dewayne for porting where Chad payed for install of the sleeves dewayne wanted and dewayne picked them up at LA Sleeve to port them, I've done the install, but an additional 100$+ for freight back and forth didnt make sense. I'd have ported it alot different too.
Its going to be his trail bike in the summer, but wil likely calm it down to a gnarly for that.

how hard do you think it would be to hook a silencer up to that pipe?

the fmf fits perfect and matches the mounts it used when on the gnarly

Interested to hear what that pipe does to the low end. i kinda want to kill off some torque in favor of revs. I think i may have spooged a little seeing that pipe. not even close to the reed block either. What was the lead time on that thing?

i noticed its a standard reed block and its had waaay too much grinded off the rhs.
why opt for the standard reed cage setup when youve gone to such lenghts with the porting, pipe etc. are standard cages that good?

Looks sweet. I never would have guessed it fit so well. I would think the intake manifold was ground like that for something unrelated to this build at all and it's just sitting on there. The outlet of the pipe is miles away from it and it looks like there's lots of room even when you twist it into place.

hey check the name on the radiator hose
YAMA SHITA
A shita in Australia is a dunny, or toilet to some folk.
LMFAO, i wouldnt run any shita on my bike,....it's also slang for bad.
ie...that car he bought is a SHITA....(bomb)

everything less the jug+pipe +carb is how chad got the bike from HRCROBERT, its a SH, hoses havent been changed since
Clears the airbox, dude i'm sure i already wrote that
the center bolt on the pipe is like a fatty location, not like a gnarly, i wasnt upstairs when chad test fit the silencer, but he says it fits
why choke the engine with a vf3 when the stock cage will outflow it, VF makes more lowend, yippie
The grinding on the reed and boot was where chad attempted to make a dewayne jones expanded gnarly fit, hit there hardcore so it aint going on ,and the reed block was in upside down so the other side of it has grinding to match the boot

its got the 99 250 ignition and hes running bar warmers,
working on jetting, plenty fat on the main right now, but it still spins so hard that it buries it 2ft deep before moving foreward.

not sure you would need the ceramic heat coatings if its gonna live in the snow. arert they designed to reduce heat from the crown of the piston?
