For all you engine rebuilding gurus!!!!
How on God's Green Earth do you torque the front two cylinder nuts? I can only get a 14mm boxed end wrench on them I have tried every socket I have but none will sit even close to flush. Even less chance of getting the head of the torque wrench in there.
HELP!!!!!!!!

With money!
Just kidding, sorta. You need an adapter for the torque wrench. Motion pro sells one, and they are proud of it ( about $17 if I remember). Part #08-0134.
you can get it at:
http://motionpro.com/motorcycle/tools/t ... h_adapter/
Just make sure you do it at a 90 degree angle(instructions are included)!

In all my years I've never torqued the cylinder nuts. But then again both my wrists get recertified every three weeks at work.

That's a good way to have base gasket leaks.

On a paper gasket? There's absolutely no need for any sort of treatment to a paper gasket,
if you torque the parts properly...

I use copper spray crap on my head gasket, but the base I leave dry.
