Throw the whole lot in the Shitter and save some money or you could just send the whole lot south to me.
I'm sure I can find something to do with the extra 500 engines and the Gen3 CRF450 POS.

probably not worth much more, looks like its been sitting outside for ages judging by the state of the faded panels ,looks like there could be a few parts missing chain, peg,and the rad look a bit bent,
make sure u got plenty of time on your hands if doing conversion
sometimes it work out cheaper buy a bike after someoneelse has done the hard work

WHAT THE FUCKS WALLY WORLD....
the shaggy kits looking good.
i'm so close to finishing my gen 1.
its sat out side for the last year...Alice springs is a dry and deserlate place....a full set of plastics is a whole $300 bucks a chain you'd always replace and the pegs are supplied...any Aussie will tell you this is a good find.

hi Guys , new to this board but I have been riding 25 yrs and currently have a streeted crf450x, thinking about building an AF and streeting it somehow. Is th 250x or 450x a better chassis for the build. Service Honda says use the 250 as the v is easier, is this true?
thanks much!

Define better?
Everyone has their own idea of whats better, I think you should work out which one you would like to convert the most.
If you like your CRF450X just covert that, they are all much of a muchness ( 6 of one and half a dozen of another ) you gain in one department lose in another.
I think you should check out shaggy aus 09 CRF450 build and see what he and bean have put together, I'm sure you will be impressed.

I picked it up today....All the way from Alice Springs, it's in better condition then the photo shows.
I was suprised to see it running a 13/40 gearing, the rear sprocket is also a factory KTM, as indicated by the logo.
