It's a delight to see Walter ride but a Hoon is who Jason is and will always be. There is just something amazing about watching someone do what they were born to do.
As for the bolts.... TORQUE is exactly the reason I do the wrenching around here. He just tightens shit till it snaps!
A CR500 is a thing of beauty whatever the frame is made of, but me, I'd rather ride a hoon!

At the piledriving outfit I worked at, you knew the bolt was tight when the 32 pound sledge hammer bounced off the allen wrench going into the 1 1/2" bolt holding the clamps on!

 As long as it's not the brit torque!

I have heard of 2 theories on torque for bolts.
1) strip it and back it off half a turn :? , or
2) snap it and back it off 1 full turn.

Just throwin it out there. Every time I ride it I cant move my fukin leg for a week. So just passively trolling for hits to see, not in any hurry. Be nice to be able to throw the ball with the boy while I can walk rather than riding a permanent 4 wheeler :(

I would think the decomp valve makes starting the bike much easier on the knees, no?
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

It does man, it's the putting the foot down in a corner that is causing the issues

And to think I almost sent him stuff. I just decided to hold on to it instead.

This is completely fucked up. When I got my 500 Bob put the word out that I was down and out and needed some help on parts. I was amazed at the community of friends that were willing to help me out not even knowing me all that well.

When I decided to scrap that project and build an AF I offered send back ALL the gifts that I received or gave them back to them.

Not sell them and make money off generous people.

What is this world coming to.

Yeah, cause thats what happend too. I got on here and begged everyone for parts. I asked you how much you wanted for the lever assembly, but thats ok, make it sound like I'm hustling everyone. I have asked no one on this board for anything other than how much money they wanted for something they were selling. But instead I get ranked up there with facher and that other guy, who blatently stole parts from you guys. I'm thinking of selling my bike cause my knees are blown. Anyone on here who has been on here, knows that situation. Later
