Has anyone here played with parts reference program from Zedder.com?
I downloaded it the other day and have found it quite useful.
Basically what you do with it is type in any Honda (there are other manufactures in there to) part number and it will tell you every Honda bike that part was fitted to.

I was looking for a case saver for my 95 CR500 engine and couldnt find a decent one one fleabay, but found a 97-01 CR250 part number was the same.
To easy. I just order a guard that would fit 01 CR250 and will know it will fit.

Only downside is that it only list bikes up to and including 05 models for us outside of the U.S. (you get to 08) and doesnt say if alternative part number will match or fit.
Still... can be useful.

Cost $25 for the international or $29 for the U.S. version.

Check it out.

cmsnl.com used to have that built into their web site, just click on the part number and it would bring up every model honda that used that part.
For some reason it doesn't do that any more. :?
It is very useful to be able to do that sort of thing, especially if you are selling parts and someone wants to know if it will fit the bike that they have.
There web site only list bikes up to 2000 models, which SUCKS! if you are building an AF.
I think I will have to invest in that.

Parts Pit Stop still has the cross reference feature

http://www.hondapartspitstop.com/pages/ ... Honda.aspx

Just pick a brand and put in your Honda part number it will list all the bikes that part fits.
