Hey guys thought I'd join the site since I just picked up my first CR500 today, and also my first two stroke! I got a great deal on her and it's a 1987. I'm not exactly sure why it won't run yet but I think it just needs some carb work. I can't wait to ride the beast and see what they are all about. Here are some pictures... what do you guys think? I got it for $600.00!!!

I have not gotten the starting method down... I know how to do it but this bike is really hard to kick! Would it be bad to try to bum[ start it the first time because it hasn't been started in a few months and it's right after a rebuild/ported and polished. Also are there any PDF format manuals out there for the 87' model?

Thanks!

Kicking probably still easier. Bump starting cold can be a beyotch.

Good practice too. ;)
