I own a 02 cr 125 ive been trying to get it to run right for almost a year
if you look on the internet youll see newer hondas have issues with bogging and fouling and overall crap running

-pipe sealed
-good reeds
-fresh packing
-tryed changing float level and jets every possible combination(i took the carb off at least 200 times)
-completly new motor top and bottom
-replaced the new crank seals because i didnt trust them(all balls)

the bike would run ok but it sounded off and loaded up at low rpms even with a too lean pilot(and really low float) and just woudnt run like it should then i ohm tested the coil 18k ohms ,that sounded wrong so i messed around and ended testing the spark plug cap and it was 5k ohms replaced it (DONT USE A HONDA ONE) and my bike runs amazing perfect throttle response way better low mid power NO loading up nice fat spark NO flooding and it even sounds way better still needs slight jetting adjustments

If you have a honda 2 stroke that wont run right and its impossible to jet properly its the spark plug cap guaranteed

if you have a 01 or newer 250 ignition on your 500 check the cap
i think even 1 ohm means its gabage thats just a guess tho

This bike is obviously a reincarnated 500noon and miss fitted with the 1/4liter you are having problems with.

This bike will never run properly as its now possesed by this 500 demond  and will only be soothed and vanqished after a total 500 conversion giving you the reliability and power YOU need...thus ending the possesion.
