Interesting chart Mike. Throughout all of the changes in administrations, Federal employee numbers have risen. To think the Republicans claim to favor smaller government.

The chart would more useful if it showed the % of government to non-government employees, therefore including services. However, the jist is that weath-creating part of society is carrying an ever larger burden in terms of the number of government employees and the associated salary and benefits costs.

If only based on at least the last two administrations, it is clear both parties have little or no respect for freedom, the market or smaller government.

At some point entitlements + defense spending + debt repayment etc. will exceed the total wealth being created....you know this is going to end (start) badly for the next generation.

Well $hit, in 2052 I'll be 95 and either in a pine box or a cardboard one. :shock: IN one respect I'm glad I don't have children but lonelyness is going to be a mofo. :(
