decompression valve DIY

any one every done a decompression valve on a head themselves?
i have my aluminum here and my decompression valve and 10x1 tap on the way....

i guess im going to do it something like this but ontop of the head.
just not how small of a hole to drill......

well this def. isnt a easy job... but very fun, I will have a full report and write up soon.. As soon as i weld my hole shut, drill it and tap it... It will be tricky to weld inside the water jacket

unless your very bored, have access to an aluminum tig machine, drill press, and other misc nity nac parts, and a 10x1mm tap...(they seem hard to find!)
