I got a slightly used desert tank off the board here and got it installed today. I got a 24 dollar heat gun from HD and a rolling pin from the kitchen. It needed room for the coil and a couple small rubs around the head stay area. I heated it up enough to push the plastic in with pressure, and held the pin or pressed it back and forth and got great results without any melting. For sale, slightly used heat gun.

What up Jay and Rick, no pics because it's already done and installed. It was very easy and btw, it was a red IMS 3.2 gallon tank. Now I can ride for a long time without fueling up.

Hey P&P; I had to do a new Clark tank a couple of weeks ago. The other one developed a crack at the bottom of the right side shroud. Anyway a $10 heat gun. :D a big socket, four dif moldings for the plug, one each side round the head. When the plastic turns clearish its time mold it. It would take about fives minutes or so to slowly heat it up just enough. Just sayin how do it.
