I once had a 14 tooth sprocket with only 7 half worn teeth on it, from doing 5th gear starts.

The rear was a 51 tooth, with something like 23 teeth broken off ( teeth were half worn )

like to see the bike that could do that and still have a clutch in it

A standard 1984 CR500 and 2 standard 1985 CR500s.

The 84 500 was new and used for 2 and a half years almost non stop and never had a clutch problem, 5th gear starts were not used every time I started but was well capable of doing it on a surface with some give.

Don't believe me? try it and see how much grunt these things really have.

The gearing you are useing and the surface you are starting on will dictate what gear you will be able to start in.

Long time ago i did a 4th gear start, because my clutch was "blown"

but only for a "small road trip" to the mechanic",that's a good reason

at the begining of the day the chain slider was complete, but missing bolts and flopping around, by the end of the day it was chain resting on aluminum.
oh and both of us got owned by a couple of guys on some wicked kx500s

 depends on the perspective, but I was pretty proud of the kawi. it can hold its own around some quick 500s, thats all. That porting might not have worked out perfrctly, but its still a fast bike.

had the chain not been grinding into the swingarm the gss probly could take out the kawi

The bike sucked balls this weekend, the last threetrips worth of not missing a beat bit me in the ass.

Chain slider disintegrated

Bolts came out of the mag cover and it was hanging the shifter up

Arm switch for the nitrous broke then shorted out cauing the fuel pump to run when not armed and not run with the solenoids on

Wicked nasty rattling noise on and off througout the weekend

Somethings binding on one of the wheels as it was REALLY hard to push when I unloaded it

Trans locked up on one ride causing it to be stuck in 2nd

Even with that list of broken shit I still got some bitchin bwol rides in, MFDB led one of the fastest dune runs Ive ever been on, every razor was took on a power wheelie :D :D :D

Danny bike is really really nice even tho its green and its a lawnmower.

Justin as usual made me feel like a complete squid with his 4th gear pinned massive wheelie whoop taking.

Those rides definatly made up for the shitty showing at the drags :D :D

bitchin rides!
MDFB has been running that pace a lot lately, and I have a blast struggling to keep up
