WTF!! @#$%!!!!

so, I spent most of the weekend getting the bikes ready to list for sale...
swapped bars, replaced grips, put freshly resealed froks on and new brake pads, etc.
My pressure washer took a shit halfway through cleaning the gen-3
my day was not to a good start. I go to start the gen-3... 20 minutes later, its smoking and blubbering. can barely do 15mph down my street. I open up the carb, swap the needle for leaner, faten up the pilot, etc. then it takes a while to start and is still blubbering w/ a 1372 and a 165 main... I'm like WTF?!
now keep in mind, my tuning issues were a major player in my decision to buy the kawi, I built the perfect bike and couldn't get it running right, and those of you that know me know that I am the jetting master... it was all very discouraging. I would either not be able to start it, have it so rich that it blubbers and smokes or pinging like crazy.
Well, I was messing with the bike after dark and noticed something that made me want to howl at the f-ing moon! a bunch of sparks coming out of the coil, and every time it would miss a shower of sparks came out. Uppon further inspection some insulation between the rod and plastic housing was missing
so I went digging through my parts box and found a brand new AMR coil I got from Nick (ISBB), it was made for a steelie, so the bolt pattern was different, but I was able to make it work very easily.
tonight after work I'm going to try it out, but I'm like %90 confident that all of my tuning issues will be gone and I will just be able to jet it close to stock.
