dont ever buy one. if you buy a bike with one already installed throw it away and get a regular muffler.

I have a turbine core on my 250, never experianced any problems... but on my 500 I use a FMF gnarly header with a PC S/A for trail riding and use a PC 304 silencer for racing...
BTW why do you think the turbine core is garbage?

I run a powercore, bro runs a pc thats been blown out +repacked, then shortened, his is bitchin loud, my reaches past the end of the plastics, i'm stil faster and i dont need to have it crazy loud. Chad got a fancy new pc, then bofore he ran it had dewayne jones modify it, gotta be 6" long now, supposed to be more power, but loud

Yeah - Dewayne tried to get me to do the same thing...I thought it was loud enough and couldnt justify cutting up a perfectly good silencer!

the PC silencers work well for that since all you have to do is drill out the rivets, cut the outer and inner tubes by the same amount, drill new rivet holes and rivet.
