Thanksgiving So Cal Trip

Looks like we will be headin to the Cal City area this Turkey Day. We are going up there with my neighbors group that go there every year, guess it is a BIG crew. But we have another group of friends goin to Spangler. I haven't been there, and was wondering if it is close enough to make a trip over to see them via bike?
Anybody else going out that way for Thanksgiving?

I haven't been on the "Turkey Day" trip before, so I will get you the specifics once I get the location from my buddy....

Dove springs was the plan for me but my sis is getting married so i'll see if I make it
