I once had a Junker with no door handle on the inside, so I used a pair of vise grips to open the door.
If I remember correctly they were locked on the door for nearly 4 years.
It doesn't matter how you do it as long as you get the job done.
GO BRIT!brit, I think you need to scrub the walls in your bathroom.
