I raced those babies for over 10 years and its one big reason I now ride 500's, trying to get a similar power to weight ratio adrenalin fix.

The best motor I had was running a compression ratio of 17:1, did 13000rpm and used 5 litres of methanol to travel 3.2 kilometers.

Considering they are single speed (except long trackers) they could rip a start & get up to 100mph EASY.

Guys if you think your CR500's are powerful then you havent lived until you get on a solo
I have been to the top of the mountain and yes it is good.
