I very nearly did the EXACT SAME THING when I was 10.... Still have the "X" on every knuckle on my right hand to prove.
Looking at that, it reminds how lucky I was..... My Hodaka didnt have enough torque to snip my fingers off.... the motor stalled instead.
Fuckin' lucky......
I would be just like this poor son of a bitch....

Ouch that sucks. I have always cleaned the chain spinning the tire with my hand.
