I see gregrobo is doing your conversion.
That thing should come out really sweet.
The pipe isn't dead its just weather beatin.

( chartacter lines )
To be honest I think your CR250 has been working out, or its on STERIODS!

Does that mean you are gregrobo's Dad.
Hell he better get it right or he might get fired.
If he gets yours as good as his its going to be a great conversion for sure.

He most likely didn't because once someone gets their hands on one, it's easy to copy. Seems now it would have made him a hero instead of "that guy". I have access to a machinist with a CNC machine if anyone can come up with a "Y" design. He's was a machinist with Cartwright Conversions if anyone remembers them.

The reason i got was Liability. If he sold parts and people put them together wrong or had a half assed welder do the install and they hurt themselves people would try and go back on him for faulty parts.. he just didnt want that headache. It was cheaper insurance wise for him to build the complete bike than it was to just make parts!

got the y today we fitted it tonight made some alterations that we new we had to just to get the new cradle tubes to fit the y the down tube is a extrustion with a web in it so the y needs a 3mm slit cut in the top and because you cant buy the right tube for the cradle we converted ours to 25x25x3mm photos soon

Wow, that is coming together really nice. The cradle tubing under the engine, does that bend inwards in front of / near the bottom engine mounts (it looks like it does in the photos).
I thought you said the Spadge Racing stickers were staying.

the frame tappers from the swingarm to the y piece so the tubes need a twist or a bend to get them to line up and at the moment they look alot misaliged because they are loose and hav not been tacked up

Id rather see a gen 4 kit with bent tubing and motor brackets so you could reuse the y and everything look stock.
