My lil guy is 3, we went for supper at his great grandmas sunday night, brought the bmx, he dumped it off a 6" ledge sidewalk by the school + of course the only thing that hit was his lip+2 top front teeth, he cried a bit, lots when i had him bite my thumb to get the teeth back in place (they'd been tipped back). though lil guy, said he needed medicine lastnight cuz it hurt real bad, sat and watched a movie i rented for him while he held an icepack on the lip for almost an hour, slept all night and said it just felt like a pinch today and his teeth didnt hurt now. dentist looked at him today and said they'll likely turn grey

poor kid, but it could have been a whole lot worse
like 2 minutes after
the usual look on his face...

the grandmas+ aunts were tellin me not to mess with his teeth + wait to see the doc, i said no and had him bite my thumb, then almost puked when they made a little grinding sound + went back, he cried for like 30 seconds and asked my why i hurt him , dentist said that was the best thing ever.
In gradeschool a kid i knew had those 2 teeth knocked out playing hockey, his dad ran out on the ice, grabbed em+ shoved em back in his head. he musta been about 7 then, he's stil got them + they didnt turn black/grey

I hate to see kids get hurt, you feel pretty helpless because you can't take the pain away for them.
Im sure they handle it better than we do.
I hope hes OK and his teeth stay there.

Based on personal experience, I say take him to a pediatric dentist to be safe.

ya, thats where we went, the actual dentist is a family friend, sis talked with him about 8pm sunday night and he got me in before 9am monday, and some kinda relation to mom is his right hand gal so we felt fairly comfortable with thier assessment

My oldest, as a kid right when those Razors came out.
Came running in the house with Bloody a mouth screaming .I took a look one cracked tooth on top, bottom ones flat across the bottom I was like WTF
He said he hit a crack and the thing stopped. He tried to eat the cross bar.
You could see the grill marks in the aluminum.
Here's the best part he just got his braces off the week before!
About $8,000.00 Later teeth straight and a new bolt on tooth with a little
cadaver bone mixed in he is about 90% of original equipment.

that makes me cringe!
I've gone thru the root-canal deal before, so did bro+sis.
I lost a front tooth to a group of 6 punks when i was 19, local cops know i dont drink + went to court for me, had two of them pay for it in restitution.
My sis lost the same tooth about a month before her grad in a sprit week team "pudding eating" contest
And bro broke his off in the root on a trampolene when he was like 14

Its hard keepin him from going outside for apples, been cuttin em up but he wants to eat em off the tree.
He looks like a real goof now with a hitler mustache looking scab.
Lastnight when I asked him what he'd like for supper it was corn on the cob, carrots with dip + ham.

I think I see a pattern here, But you know if they would just listen all would be good.
I appears to me that they are fast learners.
Otherwise the wifey would have two black eyes.
