FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
A.M.A. Pro Hillclimb Series to become N.A.H.A East in 2010
Columbus, Ohio – September 8th 2009 – The Professional Hillclimber’s Association announced today that the A.M.A. Pro Hillclimb Series will join forces with the North American Hillclimber’s Association and become the N.A.H.A East for the 2010 Season.
This alignment will unite North America’s two professional Hillclimb organizations under one sanctioning body with two series, N.A.H.A East and N.A.H.A West.
“It is essential for the continued growth of the sport of Professional Hillclimbing to join forces and support the tremendous momentum of the N.A.H.A. They continue to raise the bar in our sport and we need to be part of it. By adding the experience, history, and success, that our series has established, it will provide an association that will take us all to the next level” stated Gerry Bennett, President of the Professional Hillclimber’s Association.
“This union will provide an enormous national marketing potential and huge benefits to the promoters, riders and fans” says Poag’s Hole promoter Mike Mistretta.
“A huge and very welcome announcement for all of us in the Hillclimb business” says Kevin Looney, President of The Dayton Motorcycle Club who has promoted The Devil’s Staircase Pro Hillclimb for 60 years.
“It’s a great honor to join together the history and tradition of the A.M.A. Pro Hillclimb Series with the goals and vision of the N.A.H.A.” says Don Beer, President of the N.A.H.A.
A complete detailed announcement of the rules and regulations within the new sanctioning body will be provided in December 2009.

The new complete swingarms we have are pretty long. France was steeper than Idaho is and I wasn't all the way back and on chains. I will be around 75" with a 14 rubber paddle offset Dominator in each class, trying to hang on. I might be trying out some new reinfoced chains in the qualifier on Sat. to see how they work. Length won't be an issue.
