after having one done and then belatedly finding Bobs gen 4 build thread I think I would go that way now, do all the cutting myself and have a good local shop do the welding.

no regrets on mine but it would be a lot quicker and cheaper and doing more yourself always is good.

Seems that "some" people are only helpful when they are in troubles,

O.K,here starts my conversion (i close the deal one hour before)

Yes it will require some cutting and trimming. See my build for pics, etc..

VERY similar to a gen-3 build, except the swingarm bolt spacing is different. and the rads are different.
good luck, keep us posted!

I have a SH gen 2 down to the frame at the moment. They put in a billet Y and custom front motor mounts.

O.K update

Here's some pics of the frame ,engine and swingarm

it's a complete bike but i don't know if it's a good invest,price

translated in U.S dollar is 713$

i explain it:

Swingarm have this so i'll should find another....guess?

(i'd never ride a bike with a thing like that)

Frame, looks fine 4 me only a little bit of polish work +conversion

Engine doesn't work,so take back my money selling the engine is not an

option ,needs some bucks in it piston,rod.........

:?

Guy told me if i don't buy the whole bike,he's going to parting it

out,chopping it (Alohaaaaaaaaaaaa hawai words)

or whatever you say,so what do u think about, maybe only the frame

should be a good option?, or better find out other bike?

By the way thanks for your comments Danny,Hoofarted,Shanman and

Sean,it was very helpful

I feel you would be better off getting a complete bike in the model of your choice.

Thats just my opinion, its up to you.

Mainly a bike that doesn't require buying parts to replace broken parts, if possible.

I paid $700 for my gen-3 complete bike w/ a blown up motor. sold the blown up motor in peices for like $500, ended up w/ a good $200 roller. ironically I paid $900 for my gen-1 running and sold the motor, pipe, etc. for $700 so I also ended up w/ a roller for $200. If you can get a good swingarm and thats all that is wrong with the bike, I'd consider it. My gen-3 motor had a worn rod bearing, I sold the bottomend for $300 to a guy who wanted the trans parts, never sold the jug because it had a snagged ring. sold the head and pipe and silencer for some good money. BTW if you get it KEEP THAT IGNITION!
