ALRIGHTY THIS IS MY FIRST CONVERSION THAT I DID EARLIER THIS YEAR THAT INSPIRED ME TO DO THE CR500AF. SURE IT IS NOT AS CLEAN AS THE 500 BUT IT WAS STILL A VERY VERY FUN BIKE TO BUILD AS WELL AS RIDE. "P.S." AFTER THE BUILD THE BIKE WEIGHED IN A 198.3 LBS.. SUPER LIGHT!!
STARTED WITH A 2007 YZ250F WITH A GRENADED MOTOR then got ahold of a 2002 kx250 with the head tube broken off of it. and this is what happend

:caps: sorry.. then i gutted the bike

sorry i dont have more photo's but the end result was this.. enjoy..

i'll find some more photo's of all the fitment , i did have to alter the y piece in the front and the air boot also the rear of the engine mounts. but lowers fit right up.

Anything that can be done to keep the 2 stroke alive is a step in the right direction.
Especially the Honda CR500R.

IT RODE LIKE A LIKE A LIGHT ASS 250!! the engine had such a nice power band, it is still to this day one of my favorite bikes. i just wish i would have put more time into it perfecting it and all. i sent a photo of it to motocross action i got a message back from Ken Faught saying if he put that in the magazine he would get so much hate mail, but he said he loved it and he would love to see yamaha take the same concept only with one of thier motor's. LONG LIVE THE TWO STROKE BEER CAN!
