Since when did this become "bannedcrf450riders.com"
I like the forks, bike looks great to bad it has the wrong engine.
As for your new project, go with the 91 engine.
My thoughts, your choice though.

Go with the 87 motor, the tranny in the 89-92 sucks BALLS.
Or just swap the 91 top end onto the 87 bottom and have a goo un

While you are at it steal the clutch out of the 91 as well.
Perfect, now you have the best of both engines.
You would also need to use the clutch case as well, then you would not have to worry about the hose clearing the exhaust.
Actually forgot about the gear ratio when I suggested to use the 91 engine.
Thanks brit.
When I say clutch I mean everthing, basket, plates, cover and everything.

if you mean the tank on the crf in the pics it has a carbon fibre tank cover with a carbon fibre petrol cap, from these people>>>>>
http://www.pro-carbonracing.co.uk/hondau.htm,not sure if they still manufacture the carbon petrol cap,was bloodey expensive

Push the 4 stroke garage queen back inside, and start building your 2 stroke one.
