with my last project complete 08 crf 450 sumo,,,pics below


(removed pictures because they wernt suitable for this forum)




ime starting a new baby,07 crf 450r frame,got an 87 and a 91 cr500 engine(undecided which one to use) and an aprillia sxv 550 front end with an aprillia rxv swing arm. just ordered some 6061 offa Roostius_Maximus so hopefully withinn a few weeks the show will be on the road,cant fookin wait,anyway,yeeeeehaaaaaa

I like the forks, bike looks great to bad it has the wrong engine.

As for your new project, go with the 91 engine.

Go with the 87 motor, the tranny in the 89-92 sucks BALLS.

Or just swap the 91 top end onto the 87 bottom and have a goo un :wink:

While you are at it steal the clutch out of the 91 as well.
Perfect, now you have the best of both engines.
You would also need to use the clutch case as well, then you would not have to worry about the hose clearing the exhaust.
Actually forgot about the gear ratio when I suggested to use the 91 engine.
