I wanted to keep a bit of the older look but make it a bit more user friendly for me to ride. I need to mess with my caliper bracket a bit, it sits a bit close.

I managed to track down a NOS rear chain guide for the 500. I called a dealer in Oregon and asked about the part. He said it had been on the shelf for 240 months, laughed and hooked me up with a great price.

How exactly do you manage to track down all these NOS parts? Just lots of phone calls? or is there some super secret site im missing? Awesome looking bike BTW.

After searching for a chain slider for my '86 and having no luck, I did a bit of digging. Looking back through Honda film and parts listings, it seems that PN 52170-KS7-830 should work. I purchased one and should have a report on it by the weekend. Seems that the rubber bits are getting harder to find.

ebay has the grey disc and master cylinder covers you are looking for I think I searched something like hrc fork protector or something like that trying to find ones like McGrath ran on his 93 cr 250 and came across what your looking for!

I have a set for the conventional CR forks but I may take a look for the USD version.

I am pleased with this look! This '94 front end is hands down better than the '86 parts for me and the way I had to have it set up.

Looks great! What are you going to do for your rear shock? I wanted to put a new shock on my 85' but the way the frame is laid out you have to stick with a remote resovior. I would love to update to new forks and shock on my bike.

I am currently working on a few different ideas for the rear of the bike. None have been easy though.

You should know who a few of them are. That's cool, was it at a show or some event?
