WTF did he do to F@#K that up.
Man Im glad you got it for $450, when I said $800 was ok I thought you had a crack in the swingarm.
Not it is nearly F@#KED!
Check the wreckers, they should have one for sure.
I hope it is smooth sailing from now on, no more nasty surprises.

I know one thing, Im glad I wasn't on the bike.
Now you have a quick detach swingarm and you don't need to remove the pivot bolt.

can anyone tell me if a 97 cr250swingarm will fit a 2001 cr 250, and what years are going to work for me

I would not go that old on the swinger. 00 and 01 were the same, so I would stick to those two years.

Thats a classic example of never taking that apart to grease the swing arm bolt. To bad every jap bike that comes out of the factory is like that to begin with.
Should I ever buy a new bike from the dealer, there taking that apart to grease it before I take delivery peroid, nuff said.

exactly, I used to buy two CR500's in the crate every year back in the 80's and I didn't even ride them before taking the whole bike completely apart and properly greasing bushing and replacing all suspension fluids.

This might be more like captain MJ's style, but it may be too black and not childish enough

a gen-1 swingarm would probably fit, but the dog bones would be different and the shock is way different. I don't like messing w/ suspension geometry, just get a gen-2 swingarm and call it a day. check ebay, I see them parting gen-2s all the time.
