My new baby.......2006 CBR 1000RR. It had 5210 miles on it. The guy wanted $6000 for it and I talked him down to $5200. He also threw in a nice double-wide aluminum ramp and a set of $130 Joe Rocket gloves. The bike is all stock except for the frame sliders, Two Brothers slip-on pipe with a carbon fiber canister 
and a Puig double bubble windscreen. Yesterday I took her out on Highway 180. After a 5 minute trip through a set of mountains on the edge of the city followed by a border patrol checkpoint, the land completely changes from desert to rolling prairies with about 80 miles of unpatrolled road. Most of the time I was cruising at 90 + mph. Even though the top speed on this bike is around 180 mph, I didnt push it past 120. It still has the original tires on it and I dont trust them. They look decent, but before I go that fast I want to put new rubber on it.
