Circa late 90s CR500 to 2001 CR250R frame

I see everyone putting 2T 500s into late model 4T frames. What's up with converting a 01 250 2T into a 500?
How much of a project is it?

i think theres a few build threads with pics. i suggest taking a few hours and looking around and youll get a clear image of whats involved

youve got it all wrong, im just a piss ant. danny graves is the hoon daddy with the AF knowledge
. theres no need to type key words, just scroll through the pages in the aluminum frame section and youll find many different builds.

Thankx for the build link...very nice but so far beyond my mechanical/fab/welding abilities and with no local "support group", I'll be buying other people conversions. Hey, someone has to do it.
