Anyone here w/common knowledge of 125s know that the cradle has to be cut out/replaced.
The reason I did one is because the bike was cheap....and I went with what I had.
The good thing about this one is I didn't have to heat the tank/mash it in to make room for the spark plug.
The bad thing is that it doesn't hold much fuel.

The frame looks as though it came out nice anyway, other than the small fuel tank issue how did the rest of it impress you.

I pushed the cradle as far forward as I could to ease engine removal. I can pull the motor out w/the tank and swing arm in place, but that's w/o the cylinder head installed. Aslo, I don't have the issue of the lower bolt in the right case hitting the frame (some notch the frame for clearance).
There's not much room between the chamber and the frame and my motor mount plates are beefier than most others that I've seen. I remember reading that a rigidly mounted engine gives off less vibes, so I kept that in mind as well.
I make it sound worse than it really was. It was/is mainly just the task of addressing all the issues that everyone else talks about. Swing arm spacers, case bushings, air boot, rad hoses, etc...
It can be overwhelming if you look at a conversion as a whole. I concentrated on one small issue at a time and it eventually came together.
I'm sure it could have been done different/easier/quicker. I did it myself/my way, so that's all that matters to me.
It'll be street legal. So yes, to me the small tank is an issue.

Thanks alot.. all input helps. I couldnt find any pics and very little info on the gen 2 125, Other than cuuting the cradle out. Again, thanks. I'll be reading all your threads!
