OK Hoons, Lewis CLAN is in , I'm going to go.... maybe Pecker.....
Gates open at 6:30....
I need to get out there early, as 91 freeway traffic , eastbound, on Friday, is HORRORIFIC!!!!
I'm meeting Jay somewhere around 4:30 or so to eat.... power down some beers, and get to the track when it opens.
I know the promoter and his staff, and many of the riders... We can hang out and bullshit until the racing starts.
The is the first race at IMS in a Looooooooooooooooong time. I'm sure there is a "After-race" Celebration party too...... We'll probably hit that as well......
Any other Hoons interested?

The July 11 California State Longtack Championship at Perris Auto Speedway is getting more momentum every day. Billy Hamill is Grand Marshall, Rider lineup is strong, Sponsorship is growing and Brad Oxley will do the track preparation.
The job Brad and Lenny did on the IMS track made me want to close a deal with them to prepare the longtrack track quoted co-promoter and USA Speedway Board member Harald Zechner. "I don't think we could have found anyone better for the job" And Brad's such a easy mark. All he cares about is Speedway and the riders. He just wants it to be safe, completive and fun. All I had to do was ask, money was never the issue.
PAS track owner Donnie Kazarian was also delighted. "The best Speedway track we have ever had here at the PAS was prepared by Brad". "I just couldn't be happier".
Paying a $5000.00 purse and $1200.00 to the winner the program is really
starting to fill up. Riders wishing to compete needs to contact me or Steve
Evans in a timely manner or you'll be left at the gate when the tapes go up.
I would like to thank Warren Russell, Gene `The Machine", Jeff Arnold & Joker Machine, The Mohicans and Margo Kings Cycle Rider for all their sponsorship help.
There's still plenty of sponsorship opportunities available so please think
about supporting the 2009 California State Longtack Championship. It's Speedway history in the making.
Division 1 - Heat race sponsorship $150.
Division 2 & 3 - Heat race sponsorship $100.
Sidecars - Heat race sponsorship $150.
Division 1 Semi's or B Main sponsorship $200.
Sidecar Main Event sponsorship $250.
Division 1 Ca. State Longtrack Main sponsorship $500.
Sponsors names will be will be listed in the program, receive PA recognition during the event, VIP Parking, Two Admission tickets, Two Pit passes.
Saturday July 11, Gates open at 5pm. Practice between 5 and 6:30pm. Racing starts at 7pm.
