I have a new set of wheels here with talon hubs, the rear is giving me a bit of trouble. With the collars in either side of the hub when i try to fit the wheel the disk side collar fouls on the bracket that the brake calliper mounts on. Its as if i need to spread the swingarm 3or 4 mm. has anyone ever had this issue and if so how did you go about fixing it.
Cheers.

Sounds like you will need to remove the required amount of material from the collars. I would remove an equal amount from each one to keep the rim centered. When changing things you have to do a little tweak here and there.

Good luck

when i bought my wheels, the collars needed modification. i think they shipped me the wrong length collars, i didnt want to wait for new ones so i modified them myself. best way to do it, put a tape measure through the axle hole on the stock wheels and measure the entire distance from the outside of the spacers, then make the new wheels the same distance, or you could measure the inside distance of the swingarm and adjust spacers accordingly....one thing to be aware of, you need to have the rear sprocket run straight with the front one, so take caution if you grind them yourself

dont forget to pay attention to the brake disc , u can shim out the rear sprocket to line up , just dont cut urself short on the caliper side
