Are these better than the steelies on the street? Albert Roca still rocks the steelie and they seem to be more popular for a street setup. Something about the al frames not having enough flex? Does the springiness of steel make handling more predictable or something?

I havent ridden an af motard, i would wager a guess that the AF is superior in every aspect except comfort... I am dying to put some motard wheels on my 03 450 conversion...

Stiffer is usually better in SM, the chassis would have even more tendancy to flex with the higher traction levels in SM compered to MX - IMO.
