				Wiseco pistons...

...as some of you may know Wiseco is going cheap ass on our pistons. Cutting production time and costs and selling us heavier pistons then ever before FOR THE SAME PRICE. If they want to go cheap ass on us they had better give us some money back on our end too.
I've talked to some folks at Wiseco and they said they've heard quite a stink from us CR500 riders already. And if enough of us bitch and complain they will quite cutting corners and continue producing the pistons we have come to expect from them.
If you aren't a Wiseco customer already, then you sure as hell aren't gonna be one now. So for those of you who are take a stand. Giv'em a call and tell them they'ed better pull their heads from their fourth point of contact.
I called 440-951-6600 and spoke to a man in their production department.

"Ok so next we'll raise the price, then after that we'll stop making them altogether" - Wiseco

What I don't get is, since those Wiseco pistons have issues like needing bridges clearanced, holes drilled and seasoning so as not to seize up or crack, why does anyone here use them? I suggest Pro X pistons and LA Sleeve, can't go wrong imo.

Just picked up a new Wiseco, ordered by the local dealer this week from Parts Unlimited... they are machining the sides again! Looks like the complaints helped!

Interesting. I saw one sitting on a local motor guy's bench yesterday, and it had the cutouts too. That piston had the newer model part number, and mine is the older.
I did notice the price went up by around $30 if I remember correctly from last year... thankfully I get stuff at dealer cost.
