I've been lurking here for months, just reading and learning. I am looking for a 500 to do up as a plated street supermoto.
I just sold a CR85 mini 'moto that I put together over the winter (all that little money pit did was plant the seed for a full-sized 2-stroke!) and my current street ride is an '02 RC51. I like being in the minority, having a bike that is more of a cult thing than mainstream (hence the RC).
I hope to become an active and contributing member of this site.

Welcome.
Check your state laws and make sure it's doable before you sink a lot of extra time into the thing.
You'll need "specialty" insurance also. Most bike insurance companies don't write policies for road-going MX bikes (I know from experience).
What better way to compliment a cool street bike than w/a bad ass MX/sumo machine.

I am hoping to find one that is already titled, that way there "shouldn't" be any problems. I've had 2 Rhinos with comprehensive insurance through State Farm, so I'm hoping it won't be a problem doing a CR. I have just started the research and bike shopping. I am planning a trip to DMV tomorrow to ask questions about the whole process.

I have a 480 that I thought of selling.
It's already converted/tagged.
Crank up the volume.....

Wheelie-Gene,
Very cool bike but I'm thinking of a '93+ to get the slightly better gear ratios for the street and something that I can put a BIG front brake set-up on to get the thing slowed down!
