Good luck with the build. I have a AF in a Gen 3 450 so if u need pics or anything, let me know. I got the frame and headstay done by MPS, but everything else I had to mod,,,,, radiators, airbox etc.....
I think you got a top bargain for the roller.........
Best of luck mate

She worked on the flight line for 15 years after leaving the military as a A&P mech

My dad worked rebuilding bomb trailers and other misc military equiptment under goverment contracts.. His toolbox is bigger but she has a sweet snapon box as well that is coming home with me as soon as they get their new house

She has since retired to a desk job buying all kinds of new toys for the Department of Homeland Security. Its weird tellin folks ya my mom was a mechanic and has a gnarly toolbox full of expensive shit but hey she worked hard for her money and got every thing she wanted out of life so i cant knock that

There's an old lady down the street that I know pretty well, she's in her 80s.
She did assembly on B52s. Later on she was head of her department.
Her husband used to tell me stories of his time in the OSS ((secret service/FBI) he was in Germany after WWII). He runs a big ranch just out of town. Some jack ass would mouth off to him and he'd whip out his pistol and tell 'em to shut the fuck up.
It's pretty cool to listen to the storys that some of the old-timers tell.
That's pretty cool. My mom just sits around, does her puzzles and watches TV (and the neighbors) all day.

hellz yeah!
dude, all you need for an a/f is a sawzall and a angle grinder w/ a flap disc

just DO IT!

neither of which i have which is why i wanted to go raid the tool box in cali and get the aircompressor.

I can acommplish both with a die grinder and some diffrent disc's and wheels

don't use a cut off wheel to cut where you are planning on welding. It contaminates the weld, use a sawzall.

You can use the wheel, but use a file on it afterwards....
Good advice Danny...
