Hi I'd like to know the thickness of the bead on a teraflex, IRC M5B, maxxi desert IT. I have a dunlop and a michelin that I measured.
Dunlop = .277" = 7 mm
michelin S12= .385" = 9.8 mm
Target bead thickness is 11mm or thicker to run a nuetec tublis 18" rear setup if you are running a 2.5" rear rim. There set up if for a 2.15" rim but with a thick bead of 11mm or thicker it's supposed to work.
11mm = .433"
My dealer just gave me a quote on a new M5B of retail $126 my Cost $95, kinda spendy for them.
