Yep their website has been down lately so I decided to call and received a message stating that as of 3/5/09 they will no longer be in business, this sucks.

Sucks big time.

I just bought some stuff from them; must have been one of the last orders. That really does suck. Great company, good prices, and fast shipping - guess it was too much to hope for it to last.

I just spoke to Craig @ H.P.D.

As in every industry right now, There suffering the effects of the economy.

The majority of H.P.D.'s business in street bike stuff.... And the business simply isnt there.

Craig isnt sure if this is a temporary thing, or permanant. All he knows is McKinnon is "Scaling Back" their business model, and that includes shutting down H.P.D.

I thanked Craig for his service to us, and he thanked us for all the support... Perhaps we will cross paths again someday.

Service Honda aint too bad on prices, I just ordered a few parts from Alba and their prices were pretty darn good and I skipped the shipping charge because I'm going to pick up the order myself. But yeah we definitely need a new oem parts center.

Yeah, I just placed an order with no problems. Does anyone know if we are still getting the discount or not? It didn't appear on my invoice.

Did you log in? That is the only way you see your discount.
Actually I checked SH and their prices were lower than HPD even with the discount Not by a lot but still.

I probably have things all screwed up. I forgot that the discount was tied to your email and had ordered stuff in the past under a different email than I use for this site. I re-registered today with the email I use here to see if the discount would possibly kick in but it doesn't look like it's working. Another weird thing was when I hit the login under log in to my account, it threw me to another site called PSN network. I went back and chose view my orders, it took me to a HPD log in screen. I logged in there, checked the order (no discount) and logged out. Just out of curiosity, I hit the login again and it took me to the HPD log in instead of sending me to the other site like it did previously. Weird stuff.

You need to pm me your HPD log in , and your real name.

Once I give you the green light, you have to log in at HPD BEFORE adding things to your cart to get the discount...

Get it?

I had the same thing happen. Obviously the fellas in Texarkana have a work in progress with the site.

Yeah, I already did this once before; but missed the part about having to log in before adding to the cart. Will send it again.

Are they out of business again? I placed an order last Tuesday and it still shows as just "Reviewed". I tried calling and all I get is a recording that says leave a message but never gives you the opportunity to. I tried sending an email last Friday and still haven't received any response. Anyone know what's going on?

Please keep us posted. I just placed an order Thurs. or Fri.. Just checked the bank and was charged yesterday. Got a confirmation # from web page but no email confirmation yet as it said I would get. It is still early,
so hopefully all is good.
