would it be a sin to put my fresh 88 cr500 motor into my 97 kx250 frame?
i love the way it handles and the motor is getting tired so if i have to pull it i was thinkin why not wedge the 500 into it.
it wouldnt be hard at all compared to some of the swaps i have done in the past, but there is just a sacreligious feel to the thought of it. i know there are many kx500 to 250 conversions out there but i have never seen a cr500 done yet. but i sure would love the power of the 500 in that frame.

Maybe it will handle better,a guy had a CR 500 engine in a KTM so why not in a KX frame...?

seen 500 motors in RM's as well. I say do it..

keep that kx together and pick up a cheap cr250 chassis and convert it. they are everywhere, for very little money. i did my gen 1 for about 300 bucks.
