coolant hoses question ....

has anyone used different model honda hoses on their cr500 ?
reason i ask is their is cheap hoses on ebay but they only list cr250

I just bought blue silicone rad hose and cut it to length.

doing some digging and it seems other hoses are sold as cr125/250/500 , i also seen a cr500 hose set on ebay which look identical to cr250 (bends etc) . there is sets for 50 euro on ebay ASI performance is teh sellers name

My 2004 CR125 donor bike had 1/2" hose and the 500 has 5/8". The hose by the water pump on a 500 is 7/8". I think I paid around $5.00/ft.

On my GenIII (CR 250) conversion the stock hoses from the 91 donor CR 500 worked perfect. I reversed them, left to right then flipped both upside down.
