Hello fellow hoons! I've been lurking for awhile and finally got around to joining. I've got a '98 cr500 and have had it for about a year. Came back to a 2-stroke after owning a crf450r, wanted more power and the 450 is pretty much maxed out from the factory. I ride dunes 99% of the time and as we all know, the 500 is king of the sand! I'm in the process of restoring my 500 right now, just got the frame back from powder coating yesterday! I plan on starting a little build thread, I'm gonna have a few questions and I know we all like to see bikes get re-born.
