This happened in the last 24 hours: After submitting the stimulus bill to the republicans and getting committments from the additional 3 republican senators needed to pass the bill Pilosi, Reid and Obama slipped major changes in after the fact. They got caught.
The biggy is a socialized healthcare caveat dictating Federal Government oversite on doctors treatment. Based on a matrix it will determine whether you will receive treatment. If you are older with certain family history and have a less than healthy med record you will not receive some types of treatment if the federal government decides you don't deserve it according to the matrix. The amount of funding for just this one item in the stimulus bill is more than the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines combined receive.
Obama stood in front of the entire nation last night and described this as simply an updated more accurate way for them keep medical records. Not that it is a way to deny certain treatment to some people. He made other inaccurate and misleading statements also. These sneaky tactics are why the dems want this rushed through for signing so no one can read it line by line and find more surprises.
EXAMPLE: If you are say 75 years old with diabetes and need a hip replacement you will not get it since you will not qualify due to your age and condition. You might receive a wheelchair though.
This is just a very brief description of just a part of the crap that has been added to this bill that we do not know about because it is not being reported by the journalists. The dems know they can lie and mislead because the press is backing them. Tell your friends and family of this tactic being used to push us down the road to socialism and Marxism. If we do not quit electing dems we can say good by to national security, capitalism and freedom.
I could go on and on regarding this subject. It just is unbeleivable what is going on with this new administration in such a short time in power. I really am concerned what we are looking at over the next 4 years.
