Used a Hinson basket with OEM plates for several years. This summer I put the OEM basket back in (modified) with Hinson plates. Feels better now than it has for many years...although I doubt it feels any different than the next freshly broken in clutch.

i use oem plates and never had much issue. any clutch should last for a while, provided you dont SLIP it through a 4 mile mud hole like the guy on the other site

. if your worried about shavings in the oil then use steel plates. i thought about using steel plates and i might when my aluminums wear out but im not sure, i dump the oil every ride so i aint really concearned about the contamination. i also use heavy duty springs.
