got a reply she said the kick starter spring is busted. Now I gotta decide if I want to go to palmdale tommorow and spend $300 bucks I dont have.

The spring probably isn't even busted, just needs to be stretched or put back in the hole. I had to do that to my 86 at least twice a year.

same here. seen several in last couple days for pretty cheap. kind of weird

You'd have to make some changes but can get it to work in that Gen2 just fine...If ya can, hang on to that roller. But be warned - Danny Graves bought his 1st (an 86) and it was pretty well clapped out. Remember the saying "you get what you pay for" -- So inspect carefully.

It's real tempting but I can't spare the $300 bucks right now Hopefully I'll find some kind of deal when I get my tax return
