Haha, just found this, pretty cool. Last biggest loser post on the other board went like this. Jay buys a 900 dollar eliptical, two weeks later, it is a dusty towel rack. Bob posted interest, then dropped off the planet. I however took it seriously, lost 35lbs. and won the challenge. I'm a tub of lard once again so I'll join in, good luck suckers you'll need it. :D
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

For lose weight or you eat less than you need e.g.(need 1500-2000 cal) and eat (1000 per day)

Or burn more doing sport:

one hour running (800-1000)depeds of the weight

one hour bycicle (500)

one hour walking(250)

one hamburger with french chip(1200)

If you know more or lees how many calories have every food

and how many you need a day,it will be easier....it depends also of your activity,work,etc,etc....

Go to www.sparkpeople.com you can join for free.
You can log your food and excercise (it's easy)
or tell the site to figure out a work out and menu for you.
It has tons of information and there are even a few guys on there who ride.
A CR500 is a thing of beauty whatever the frame is made of, but me, I'd rather ride a hoon!

I'm in. I have already made a commitment to lose so I'll join this fun.
Right now, I'm a soft 215 with a BMI of 29.2.
Borderline obese!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

My goal is to get to a 'tuned' <195 and keep it here. Fook the 26.4 BMI, I feel good at this weight.
I won't win the contest but it will give motivation.

Where do I send the $20?

Shit I thought you guys rode these bikes for their balls-to-the-wall power, not because they are the ONLY bike that won't blow a gasket with your asses on them!

jk, but seriously I commend all of you who actually make the effort here. I know what it's like trying to drop some lbs.

Just put in 9.3 miles and peeled 1050 calories on the recumbant bike. If any of you have messed up knees, man the recumbant bike is the way to go. Planning on a can of tuna fish with no mayo packed in water for lunch and a sensible portion for dinner. When I lost the first of my mass last year,(140lbs), I found portion control and healthy food choices contributed as much or more to my weight loss than exercising itself. But exercising increased the weight loss and toning of muscle too so it's all good. Probly ride the bike one more time today. We shall see!
