Just put in 9.3 miles and peeled 1050 calories on the recumbant bike. If any of you have messed up knees, man the recumbant bike is the way to go. Planning on a can of tuna fish with no mayo packed in water for lunch and a sensible portion for dinner. When I lost the first of my mass last year,(140lbs), I found portion control and healthy food choices contributed as much or more to my weight loss than exercising itself. But exercising increased the weight loss and toning of muscle too so it's all good. Probly ride the bike one more time today. We shall see!

I will ride the RB again this afternoon, but only for a little booster, and am planning on a nice shrimp salad for lunch with Hidden Valley Ranch Light dressing. I paypal'd the money just now Bob. I have been sicker than a dog this week so I haven't got to start yet. I am going to be a little more than a week behind but that's ok. Good luck everyone.

183lbs. that's a loss of 2 lbs. :D
A CR500 is a thing of beauty whatever the frame is made of, but me, I'd rather ride a hoon!

This is all kinda weird to me,I'm the type that can stuff my face as much as I want but don't gain shit,The heaviest I've ever hit was 205 when I was 17 yrs old and that was from hitting the weights for 6 or 7 mnths 4-5 days a week on creatine, glutamine, protein drinks,etc....,once I quit that shit I lost a few pounds every few months till I got down to 175ish,was stuck there until a few months ago, weighed myself one day and I weighed in at 180,like I said I eat whatever I want when ever I want,I play hockey for 4 months a year,I do walk quite a bit, don't own a car just my bike, quad and sleds, one time in 03 I got food poisoning from chicken, was puking and shitting for a week and hit 160  ,That was rough,I was in edmonton with my girl when she was pregnate with my twins, when I came home everyone thought I was on crack or something ,anyhow goodluck to everyone involved and don't quit just cause the contest is finished

OFFICIAL WEEK 1 WEIGH IN

Here's our line up:

Aliso Bob 281 - 3 = 278

Baze 362 - 3 = 359

Hell Bear 287 - 0 = 287

Mama 185 - 3 = 182 :woot:

S.C.H. 210 NO REPORT!!!

No Brakes 340 NO REPORT!!!

Trever 281 - 5 = 276 :headbang:

Extreme 194 - 0 = 194

Solid Bro 289.5 - .5 = 285 ( Dont blame the Mother India lunch on me!!!!)

Red Rocket 180 NO REPORT!!!

Good job everybody...... They say if you lose more than 8 or so pounds a week, it hurts your long term weight loss schedule. This is a 16 week contest, and if everyone can maintain a 2 - 4 lb a week loss, many of us will reach our goals.... or at least come very close.

To those who didnt report.....
