Short answer, no.
The 929 and 954 engines are fairly similar though.
The older 900's are carburated, the 929 is fuel injected.

this 929 my buddy got for the climber should be lots, but a kid in town has a wrecked 954 with no insurance that'd be 1100cnd or so to buy. We're talkin serious about it aswell

the 929 / 954 is a great motor.
I beat on a 929 for years, and it didn't even need a valve adjustment when I finally got around to checking them.
