Not mine, found it just now and figured somebody here would snag it for a conversion.

I checked it out. It is a pretty nice and solid bike. He was wanting more when I went and looked at it, but for $900 it is a steal. I just wish I had an extra motor to put into it.

I should've jumped on that 02 450 that needed a case half for $950, too. I just don't have the ability to build an AF bike myself and I don't have the money to have somebody else convert it.

There are plenty of deals out there on our Detroit craigslist, I've ran across dozens now that would be nice conversion bikes, plenty of running 97-99 250's for well under $1500...

Blusmbl-

Are you game to do a 250 conversion? If so, I'm lookin' for a '99, 2000 or '01 250 motor for my son's bike. You'd be able to recoup a lot of your money right off the bat. Just PM me if you find a good one and decide to take the plunge.

Hey Jay!

Still toyin' around with doin' a 500 project. Just picked up a Gen 4 CRF250R. Now looking for a 500 motor for it, and need a 250 motor for my son's bike.

Just doin' as much riding as I can and sorta layin' low 'til the real estate market picks back up- then I'll be too damn busy again.

Still got one 650 left. You still got yours? Do you ever see Bruce any more? I've been doin' some reading here... looks like you've been busy with a couple conversions! Looks fun... Can't wait to finish mine! Gotta find a motor first...

Call me when you get a chance-

If I take the plunge you'll be the first person I call! :D I hear the 00/01 250 is the best of the bunch, Honda ruined them with the electric power valve in 02.
