Copied from another thread to clean things up, basically bike has been running horrible last 3 times out, the last 2 it wont even open up.....

It wasn't the problem...... I took it out today and still doing the same thing.


I pulled everything off and found one of the connectors to the stupid roost boost hanging off. I pulled the RB and threw it, reconnected the original wires and siliconed them.


Now it wont fire, I pulled the plug and its spotless with a nice fat blue spark.


Still wont fire....

I gave up and am having a beer.




I went back at it with the neighbour. kicked until blue in the face and nothing. swapped another brand new plug in and kicked until sore...... nothing. Pulled mag cover and flywheel nut, woodruffkey is not sheared and in good shape.

Kicked kicked kicked kicked.... nothing

pulled reed cage..... good.

So far I have this for symptoms

1. idled fine but would not open up
2. moved mag wires a little and it dies and wont fire
3. check all wiring and find roost boost wire hanging off.... throw roost boost in trash
4. great fat blue spark and coil OHMs out ok
5. plug is wet when remove so have fuel
6. pulled mag cover nothing leaking dry as a bone and nothing sheared,timing looks good
7. compression hurts my foot like a mofo (limping now)
8. reeds are perfect
9.................... still wont fukin start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 not even a Pffffft half ass fire.................... Im angry now.


Any input would be greatly appreciated as Im out of ideas now...........

try swapping parts from the other bike until it runs.

Why would it not run now tho? I dont want to start cannibalising my perfect runner.

Well, I'd just go for the easy stuff. Carb, then ignition. If it's something else after that, at least you ruled out the two big probabilities.

Ill be over to pick up my new bike just leve it alone

nope. but if you need to switch stuff out & around to findout whats wrong I have every part you would need completely

Im gonna have at it this afternoon, im beginning to think the bottom end is full of gas or something.

That's the whole problem, he keeps "checking" his pipe before he works on his bike. Put the pipe down, then go work on it.

Ok then...... Ill go hang out with Rabbit he even said he would have cold beer that I could watch him drink if I helped him work on his bike
