My bike has alot of black oil in the crank, coming up when you turn it. Looks like tranny oil, could it be a leak. The old piston has a bif burn mark under at the exshaust side.

Any input on this?
Should I split the engine to check it?

X2 Unless your Brit, it's pre-mix. Thats what keeps your carnk bearings lubed up. I tore my 90 down last year and had like a 1/2 pint of oil in there! But if your Brit, who knows what kind of shit you'll find when you open up an engine of his!

if your bike smokes like a bastard ALL the time, it could be a center gasket.

measure oil in vs. oil out sometime after a few good rides and see what happens
