Converting a 1999 Cr 500 to supermoto.
Needs a top end and new rotors that fit the new rims and some spacers.
Will try to fill the pipe with water and put it in the freezer to blow out this dent agian.

Does that work? Got a dent just like that here and would really like to get it out!
A CR500 is a thing of beauty whatever the frame is made of, but me, I'd rather ride a hoon!

I dont know, got the wheels dirt cheap. If they are it will be easier to get some rotors.

What brand of rims are they and if you could post close ups of the hubs I may be able to help idenditify them if they are KTM. Hell I'm going out to the garage and trying my KTM wheel in the AF, would be sweet if it was that easy.

Cheers

Have taken the bike down for sandblasting and powdercoating, gonna do the frame and rims. Waiting for a new cylinder and piston kit to arrirve. Going to order some new spokes so I can use the original hubs.

Will a CRF450 rear fender fit?

Are in need of a new chain and sprockets, any recomondations on that and gearing for road use?

New cylinder and piston is on its way with new chain, sprockets and plastic. The frame is apart and sandblasted just waiting for a paint job. Have sold the KTM rims that was on the picture. Going to order some new rims from eastcoastwheels. Maybe get a Vapor speedo and a promotobillet kickstand if I still have money left after putting the bike together.

Painted the frame black today.
Did it with a spraycan inside my bedroom :)

The bike is nearly complete now. Waiting for seatcover, wheelspacers, caliper relocator, tires and tubes to arrive in the mail.

Will order a boyesen clutch cover and a new white tank when I get some more cash.
